ASHRAE, founded in 1894, is an international organization of 51,000 persons. ASHRAE fulfills its mission of advancing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world through research, standards writing, publishing and continuing education.

To provide a local, unbiased technical forum for the gathering and sharing of ideas and to advance the education of both our ASHRAE members and members of the community, to foster high school, college and university students' interest in HVAC, engineering and other technical fields, and to raise funds for ASHRAE research to support the established engineering standards utilized in the community which we live and work.
